| Marc Chagall
(1887-1985), a celebrated painter of
twentieth century distinguished for
his surrealistic inventiveness, was
associated with almost all modern movements
after the Impressionism. Inspired by
the Belarusian folk life his Jewish
heritage was reflected in his art through
out his life. His compositions were
governed by vivid colors and optimism
where imagination was woven with reality
suffused with poetic inspiration. View
some of his most notable works in our
gallery at World Images. |
