Norman Percevel Rockwell (1894-1978)
was the painter whose name is synonymous
with depicting the best aspects of
contemporary America. Best known for
his Four Freedoms series and Rosie
the Riveter, Rockwell was a story
teller with a brush. A prolific artist
he was associated with The Saturday
Evening Post for more than four decades.
