Earth is the only planet known to have life. And what diversity of life it has! The world is teeming with life. One cannot imagine the variety of life that nature has. There are trees, plants, animals and birds. There are so many different types of each, each having distinct characteristics.
There are so many types of animals; they can be broadly classified as domesticated and wild.
Domesticated animals are those that are harmless and are of some assistance to human race. Cows, goats, sheep etc. are some of the domesticated animals. They help human beings by providing milk, wool etc. Some animals such as dogs, cats, horses are our pets. They become a part of the family they are brought up in.
Wild animals are found in the jungles and could harm other living things. They grow and live in the forests and hunt other animals for their food. Lion, tiger, leopards, jackals, bears etc. are wild animals.
Children love animals; they fascinate kids. Very often kids of the family are closest to the pets.
