Christmas means Happiness, Festivity, Gifts, Food, Snow, Santa and THE CHRISTMAS TREE. People take great interest and effort in getting the best Christmas tree to their homes. Children love to decorate them by hanging stars, apples, metal objects and candles on them.
This tradition of decorating Christmas trees was first started by the Ancient Romans. In winter they would decorate these trees with metal objects in honor of the Saturn God, God of agriculture. With passing times, other nations inherited this culture.
Today there are many varieties of Christmas trees available. Large tree farms grow different types and sizes of these trees during winter. People also find new and unique ways of decorating these trees.
The Christmas tree has become such an integral part of the festival, that Christmas is no longer Christmas without them.
