Gallery Description
The origin of the word Fairy can be traced to the Latin word 'fata' meaning fate or destiny. Fairies are considered an unknown force that has a fascinating effect on men and events. The world of Fairies is a mixture of a mysterious enchantment, a charming beauty, but also of a huge ugliness, of insensitive shallowness, humour, malice, joy and inspiration, fear, laughter, love, and tragedy.
There are many legends that speak of the origin of fairies. According to one, fairies are fallen angels who are neither good enough to reach the Eden nor wicked enough to suffer hell.
There are also several different ideas regarding the location of the 'fairy world'. Some believe it to be the horizon, the mountains, or the sea while others think it's the trees, plants, flowers, breeze and so on.
Wherever be the world, it is undoubtedly the most enchanting world that appeals to the innocent childlike imagination still in our hearts.
So let the child in you free and see the beautiful land of fairies with us.
