Gallery Description
Chirping of birds, roaring of water, blowing of wind and even the eerie silence of nature could be music to the ears of the musical minds. Music is regarded as the highest form of art by many. Music is defined as an artistic form of auditory communication. It is the organization of sounds in a rhythm.
Music has many forms, many ways of manifestation. While some produce music with the power of their voice, others use their breath, or fingers or hands on various forms of instruments to produce music. The degree of variation one finds in music can probably be found nowhere else. While some regard it as a great form of showcasing and utilising the creative energy in them, others see it as a way to reach God and yet others use it as a means of entertainment, relaxation.
Music may not mean the same to every person; different forms of music may appeal differently to different people. Yet music unifies people; it brings a sense of deep satisfaction whether the person is the creator of the art or the receiver of it. The greatness of this art lies in that it can blend with any or all other forms of art; By blending with other art forms, music magnifies the charm of that art as well. Be it poetry, drama, movie or paintings, music adds a great value to all of them. It lends greater variety, greater beauty and greater appeal to them.
Many artists have depicted music and musical forms in their paintings. This is proof enough of the effect, the importance of this art form. It finds a place in every other art.
Our gallery of music paintings and posters brings you a collection of some of the best posters and paintings of musicians, musical events and music ever produced.
