Romance, Who doesn’t like romance? Who doesn’t indulge in Romance? There is a romantic side to each one of us. Romance is a feeling of idealism; romantics could live in an idyllic state much to social criticism. Yet, romance is ingrained in all of us. While some are explicit about it others keep aside that side of their personality.
Romance is omnipresent! There’s romance in nature, in people, in speech, music and in every aspect we can dare to think of! Romanticists are accused of wearing rose-colored glasses! But without those glasses life would not be worth. That’s why romantic movies never fail to make an impact on people. They are cherished for years and years.
Has any one who has seen the classic Casablanca forgotten it! Has anyone who has not seen it (really?) not heard about it! It has been over 60 years since the movie was made but it is still fresh in the minds of the people! It is to date rated among the top 10 movie. What makes it special is the romance between the handsome Humphrey Bogart and the beautiful Ingrid Bergman. The very quality of romance is such that it evokes positive feeling about everything around you.
There have been many other romantic movies made, that have tried to emulate the success of Casablanca; some have been successful, some have not; but the idea or romance itself is still as strong as ever. As long as there is man, Romance will live on.
