Gallery Description
By definition, a sail boat is “a small sailing vessel, usually with a single mast”. But that would be the most unappealing description of the colorful, elegant sailboats that glide and skim over the water. What can rival the beautiful experience of feeling the wind and the waves on your face as you sail smoothly over the water or go for an exciting blast across the lake!
Sailboats are mainly of 3 types. The daysailing boats are of use during the daytime and are not furnished with facilities for overnight accommodations. They can sail at varying speeds depending on the design.
Cruising boats are larger and have spaces for cooking and sleeping. In spite of their large size, just two people can manage them.
Another category is the racing boats, which are specially designed for the purpose. But people generally use all types of sailboats for racing. There can be races where the boats contesting are of similar make. There can also be races where boats of different design and speed contest against each other.
Check out our gallery of sailboat paintings, prints, and posters. You are sure to find the painting you have been searching for.
