George Lucas’s sixth and final film, Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith, offers a climactic ending to the saga of the galaxy. This episode completes the circle of six Star Wars movies over the last 30 years, arguably the most compelling science fiction series in cinematic history.
Anakin Skywalker is called “the one” as his destiny is to become the greatest of all Jedis. Despite this expected destiny, his mind is poisoned by Chancellor Palpatine, a conniving politician who pretends to be a weak old man who is actually the powerful Sith lord Darth Sidious from the Dark Side. The sinister Palpatine petitions Anakin to help stop the Jedi from allegedly destroying the elected government.
Anakin wrongly suspects that his love, Padme Amidala, may be spying on him for the Jedi forces who he decides are his enemies. He fears that Padme no longer loves him yet she is carrying the twin babies who grow up to be Leia and Luke in Episode IV: A New Hope. Eventually, Anakin abandons the Jedi side entirely and slips over to the Dark Side of the Force to become the sinister Sith lord, Darth Vader. Chancellor Palpatine then assumes the title of “Emperor” after winning Skywalker over to the Dark Side.
Through all the exciting twists and turns of the plot, many old favorite characters make an appearance in Revenge of the Sith: the gnome-like, Yoda, who tries to be a spiritual guide to Anakin; C-3PO who has his memory wiped out; R2-D2 who helps Anakin and Obi Wan escape troubles early in the film; Obi Wan Kenobi, the skillful, lightsaber-wielding knight who becomes an old wise mentor; and Chewbacca the strong and furry Wookiee.
Movie prints, posters and paintings include the favorite Star Wars characters. For example, Yoda pictures, Darth Vader pictures, Anakin Skywalker pictures, General Grievous pictures, and themes including exciting light saber battles such as Jedi battle pictures, star fighters pictures, star fighter battles pictures, bright trees pictures, and Star Wars pictures through the ages with all six episodes. Star Wars pictures include advance release, door size and doublesided posters, film cells, oversize postcards and 3-D (three-dimensional) art.
May the Force be with you!
