Gallery Description
Tim Ashkar
Born in 1956, the Italian Artist Tim Ashkar decided to pursue art seriously when he turned 18. He studied oil painting under Judith Serbaroli from 1974. Ashkar is the creator of many renowned paintings that are characterized by the beautiful expressions of the characters.
Religion and mythology has had a strong influence on him as is evident from the theme of his paintings. Some of his works like, Adam and Eve, Descent from the Cross and Gospel Choir of angels stand examples for his religious and pious nature.
Most of his works revolved around beautiful damsels or little angels playing peacefully or enjoying the beauty of nature. No other artist has probably captured the expressions of the subjects as beautifully as Ashkar. An exemplary example of this is his famous painting ‘Expressions of Joy’.
Over the years, Ashkar has had numerous one-man shows that have become huge hits. In addition to this, he has created scenery for television and motion pictures as well as portrait commissions of prominent people in the film and television industry.
Our gallery of Tim Ashkar’s paintings showcases some of the best works of this brilliant artist. Check this out.
